Artykuł omawia kwestię nauczania kompetencji informacyjnych (IL , information skills) na gruncie polskiego bibliotekarstwa. W pierwszej części zaprezentowano stan badań, bazując na podstawowej analizie rodzimego i zagranicznego piśmiennictwa fachowego. Następnie omówiono pochodzenie pojęcia information literacy oraz jego definicję, a także związane z nim modele, standardy i wytyczne. Dużą uwagę poświęcono problemom nauczania information skills w szkolnictwie wyższym, podkreślając jednocześnie szczególny udziału bibliotekarzy w tym procesie. Omówione zostały również zagadnienia związane z wykorzystywaniem gier w nauczaniu oraz wskazano możliwość ich zastosowania. Na zakończenie zaprezentowano prototyp scenariusza gry terenowej, której trasa zlokalizowana jest w Czytelni Informacji Naukowej Biblioteki Jagiellońskiej.

The paper is devoted to the issue of teaching information literacy (IL ) in Polish library environments. The first part presents the state of the art, basing on analysis of Polish and foreign professional texts. Next, the origin of the very concept of information literacy and its definition, as well as models, standards, and guidelines related to it, are elaborated. Much attention is paid to the problems of teaching information skills in higher education, while stressing the special role of librarians in the process. Issues related to involving games in the teaching process and their possible modes of application are also discussed. Finally, a prototypical field game scenario which route proceeds within the Reference Reading Room of the Jagiellonian Library is presented.
