The article provides an assessment of the impact of globalization on economic growth. The author describes globalization processes and explains their essence, stages and prime movers. The positive influence of globalization on economic growth is shown, first of all, in the impact of direct foreign investments on the increase in production, employment and innovativeness of the economy. Another factor that matters is the right atmosphere for the growth of enterprise. The article also provides the reader with an analysis of the impact of globalization on the growth of the Polish economy against the background of other countries under political transformation.
