The article is devoted a complex scientific problem - a relation between Ukrainian language and the archaeological thripel culture (V - III millennium B.C.), which was widespread on the right-bank Ukraine. The individual attempts of scientists to find out the 'thripel contents' in Ukrainian did not give reliable results. Possibly, they will be successful when apart from convincing etymological arguments, the systemic historical and typological research will be carried out of those pre-slavonic units which have credible signs of the thripel culture language carriers.
