The study offers a socio-linguistic view on amateur literary servers, which function as a space of the Czech-Slovak literary context. Literary servers represent the sphere of contact between the Czech and Slovak texts, as well as their authors' common perceptual and communicative space, which is reflected also in discussion/commentary reactions to the released works of the Czech and Slovak amateur authors. Bilingual Czech-Slovak discussions, commentaries to the text, the exchange of opinions between readers and author or among readers themselves signifies, that we are dealing with a specific area of the Czech-Slovak cultural contact conducted by the common interest in 'literary life'. The international functioning of cyberspace in the Czech-Slovak context serves in the present as an indication, that if Slovak literature is scarcely read (mainly unread in original) in the Czech Republic, as often stated in various forums, amateur literary servers are the platforms of the literary communication with the Czech-Slovak context, enriched by various particularities.
