The paper presents the proposals which concern regulating some aspects of functioning the resolution - making initiative. The proposals are based on the solutions included in the statutes of counties granting their residents a resolution - making initiative and on the analysis of legal solutions adopted in the legalisation of the United States where the resolution - making initiative is a widely used instrument.
