The article presents a typology of e-learning systems: LMS (Learning Management System), LCMS (Learning Content Management System) and LCS (Life Communication System). It also contains e-learning standards and the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) instructional design model which provides a step-by-step procedure that helps training specialists plan and create training programs.
