The authoress refers to a domain of basic concepts of pedagogics. In discussing the meaning of health education she refers to A.M. de Tchorzewski's conception of education in its widest meaning. The authoress takes into consideration the question of purposes of health education, too. She watches these purposes in forming positive attitudes towards health. She presumes that an attitude towards health consists of three components. There are knowledge about health, emotional and behavioural components.
