The objective of this report is to sum up the second call for applications for co-financing of projects within the framework of programme 'Interreg IIIA Poland - Slovak Republic'. The second call for applications was announced on August 26, 2005. The applicants applied for a total co-financing sum from the ERDF amounting to 32,813,508, whereas the available sum was 6,246,348.66. Once again, the majority of the submitted projects were applications within the filed of infrastructural development. The number of projects regarding improvement of technical conditions of local and regional roads or extension of sewerage is a result of huge needs with respect to modernisation of road and environmental infrastructure. Summing up the second call for applications for co-financing of projects under the 'Interreg III A Poland - Slovak Republic' programme, it is impossible to omit experiences gathered during the first call for projects, thanks to which the subsequent application round was streamlined.
