'Differentiated learning' is a new concept of education which has recently been propagated in the USA and which is oriented on children's independent search for knowledge. It is related to the useful teaching strategies, which are worth transferring to Poland. The research issue is the question if it is possible to realize this type of education in Poland. On the basis of the documents analysis it can be said that there is a base for this differentiation as there are some key statements according to which a teacher is obliged to organize his work. These are for example: 'Program Basis', 'Reform of Educational System' and syllabi. On the basis of those documents analysis the authoress states that there are big potential opportunities to realize differentiated education in first classes, as its educational objectives are the same as the differentiated education assumptions. According to them, teachers are required to develop children's interests, pay attention to children's individual needs and adapt lesson level to intellectual potential of every student, etc. She will verify real possibilities to realize differentiated education during empirical research in primary schools.
