Abstracts
Peter F. Drucker (1909-2005) enjoyed world recognition as an author of numerous books which lifted importance of management as research area and academic subject. His research and reflections cast a new light on histoncal role of Taylorism in economic and political development of the USA and other countries. Drucker defined principles and efficiency conditions of managers' activity in the organization. Management by Objectives, which is applied by many well-known enterprises nowadays, is the management method associated with his name. Drucker's concepts have also proved to be significant for the determination of management principles in non-govemmental organizations.
