In 2004 a stone axe, that is rare by the raw material used, was found in the archaeologically documented site in Busovce. A systematic research at the site has revealed a multi-cultural settlement dated to the Late Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Eneolithic (?). A detailed description of the axe is given. It was made of sedimentary rock of matt to greasy polish, conchoidal fracture and black colour, i.e. of menilithic hornstone and could be dated most likely to the Middle Neolithic. At the moment the axe from Busovce can be considered the unique find that was most likely imported from the region of Lower Beskidy mountains
