The paper deals with a water management system in the village of Radiměř situated on the former Czech- -Moravian land border, in the Hřebečsko region. By means of historic, cartographic and geographic research methods, the development of a unique system of mills, raceways and water reservoirs on the little Radiměř brook was reconstructed; only a torso of it has survived until today. The Radiměř water management system is an example of a state-of-the- -art period technology and at the same time an example of a purposeful anthropogenic terrain (landscape) modifications for economic purposes.
