The semantic accuracy of terms is regarded as a degree of congruence between the term meaning and the object described. It is stated that existence of terms with semantic accuracy violations as well as terms with fuzzy meanings denies the thesis that accuracy is an intrinsic property of scientific terms. Moreover, the impossibility to create a technique for accuracy measurement makes the very notion of term accuracy devoid of any scientific contents.
