A trailer is perfect material for reflection on the history of the film industry and the expansion of the technical and artistic potential of the Seventh Art. The best and most interesting trailers, treated as a short film form or even a separate film genre, may become an interesting object of analysis to identify strategies, conventions and tricks employed in their production. Trailers are also useful materials for research by social and culture sciences, and the basis for reflection on problems of reception and on pop culture.
