Data gathering and processing is necessary for effective project management in multi-project environment. Enterprise Project Management (EPM) platform is a group of useful tools which enable project managers and executives to make decisions in an easier way. Successful implementation of the EPM platform depends on proper technical preparation of the organization, knowledge of staff, organizational culture, appropriate motivation of people using this application (so that resistance towards new solutions could be eliminated). Good communication between organization departments has big influence on the success of the EPM implementation as well.
