Abstracts
The article discusses five finds of Roman coins. Respective information is kept in the Coin Room to the National Museum in Cracow. In two cases - the hoard of coins struck at the Alexandria mint from the vicinity of Chelm and the denarius hoard from Dabrowno - the archival data made it possible to complete the already known information on their contents and fate of the objects included in both the foregoing deposits. Three other finds have been published for the first time. These are coins (probably denarii) by Trajan and Marcus Aurelius found in Kazimierz Dolny, a denarius struck for Faustina Minor by Marcus Aurelius, discovered near Tyniec, and silver denarius bearing the legend CONSECRATIO, struck after Marcus Aurelius' death by his son and successor Commodus, found in Tyszowice. The finds under discussion complete the inventory of the finds of Roman coins from the area of Poland.
