The paper presents changing role of project manager in dependence of change of organizational structure in frames of which the project is realized. The presented process of evolution aimed at the full power of project manager, was based on introductions of the four principal structures: functional, matrix (together with her changes: weak, balanced as well as strong), team and clean organic structures.
