A lot of factors determine the presence and activity of the households on the financial market, in particular their savings amount and access to the financial services. The paper analyses the changes which occurred in the structure and dynamics of the Polish households' assets. The analysis takes into consideration their tangible and financial assets. The author has estimated Polish households' wealth in the years 1995-2005 on the basis of available statistic data.
