The article presents an evaluation of current state of development and offer of the academic schools in Lódz and its region, concentrating on strong and weak aspects of their current activities. Afterwards, have been shown same changes of didactic and research offer of academic schools for small enterprises. At last, propositions with a view to ensuring effective support for small businesses working in Lódz and its region are formulated, as well for those who launch as those who succeeded and have to direct their further growth in well-considered way.
