In practice of the activities of enterprises there are various international models of physical flow of products from suppliers to the manufacturing plant, as well as from the manufacturing plant to customers. A lot of companies instead of using common models try to look for better solutions that ensure lower costs, better quality but have also an impact on better customer service. One of the solutions that can help to organize efficient physical flow of products on an international scale is the application of 'milk run' in the transport organization. This article presents the main international models of the physical flow of products and delivery model based on the principle of 'milk run'. The author presents the characteristics of the models, their organization as well as advantages and disadvantages.
