The study presents the results of the analysis on efficiency of the Frostig program for visual-perception abilities development. It demonstrates how the ability structure of 4-8-year-old children with combined disabilities of learning, language development and visuo-perceptive organisation was influenced by a 7-month-long development period. 120 children were involved in the study. Results were analysed by Snijders-Oomen, Frostig, Bender and Goodenough tests using experimental and control groups (N=60 for both) divided into 3-3 subgroups based on age and institutional background. The obtained results showed that the multi-sensory development program worked in different ways for children of kindergarten or school age but in both groups the program efficiently influenced the development of abilities and effectively helped to decrease the intraindividual differences. Results also showed significant development in mental and visual achievements of the experimental group compared to that of the control group.
