Education or pedagogic activity in the environment?

The author touches upon the problem which is essential for pedagogy as a science and its matter of research. He enters the discussion on the identity of pedagogy as a science, particularly the sub-discipline emerging from social pedagogy - environmental pedagogy. He is of opinion that the best expression that identifies the research subject of environmental pedagogy is pedagogical activity and not education (upbringing) as it is in the field of interest of other educational sciences.
