The paper discussess the kinship terminology in Vogul (Mansi) language. After giving an overview of the research on kinship terms in Finno-Ugric languages the author presents the principles which underlie the formation of the Vogul kinship system. The paper also examines the morphological structure of Vogul kinship terms and their occurence in recent Vogul texts. Finally the list of Vogul kinship terms collected by the author is presented.
