The threats connected with the expansion of Chinese imports make domestic textile manufacturers develop strategies which could protect their further functioning. The defense strategies consist of such elements as implementation and investment in information technologies and cooperation with research centers. Also organisations using textile enterprises in the EU play ana important role in working out a common policy protecting interests of the industry
