Today, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is having a profound effect on the legal field in the modern day, with its use being spread to a larger background and most importantly across various domains. This helps lawyers and legal experts in carrying out their jobs by easing research as well as automating routine functions, analyzing contracts and predicting future case outcomes. Utilizing Artificial Intelligence allows case management and legal document evaluation to take place without utilizing a large amount of time and effort. However, the use of AI comes with challenges including whether there is data privacy, decision-making bias issues and who is held accountable for a plethora of diverse AI behaviour. This study explores the potential of AI in the legal system, highlighting its advantages, disadvantages, and impact on legal practitioners. It examines how lawyers can adapt to these changes while upholding justice and maintaining precision in their practice. The study also offers policy recommendations to guide this transition.
