The article announces 'The Dictionary of Polonisms in Russian 19th- and 20-th Century Texts' currently edited in Russia. General remarks concerning the publication are complemented with broad excerpts from the dictionary, which provide a representative sample of its contents. The article proves a significant presence of Polish vocabulary in the Russian language and especially in texts referring to broadly understood Polish-Russian relations in the 19th and 20th centuries.
