The theoretical-practical aspects of determination of bank risks have been considered in the context of adaptation of bank laws of Ukraine to requirements of the Basel committee of bank supervision. Important attention is paid to the risk control systems in banks of Ukraine and to problems of perfection of the existing banking risk management systems itowards introduction of principles of the new agreement on adjusting bank capital to requirements of the Basel committee of bank supervision (Basel-II).
