The article presents the development of the Lutheran book and press in Poland, after the political transformation of 1989, and the state of research on Polish protestant literature. There has been described the publishing activity of the Lutheran Church of Augsburg Confession in Poland and its related entities taking into account the geographical and historical circumstances different for various dioceses. The article demonstrates the need to undertake research on new Lutheran literature, which is presently growing in accordance with contemporary cultural trends: pluralism and glocalisation.
