CSR - A Challenge for Human Resource Management; The Union Approach

The purpose behind this study is the presentation of the essence as well as premises of the development of corporate social responsibility (CSR) with special stress on the European Union's approach to it, an effort to identify challenges to human resource management as resulting from the implementation of the CSR concept, and an assessment of CSR in Poland in light of questionnaire-based research. These considerations create fertile soil for discussions on the opportunities and threats tied with the development of CSR and the implementation of its assumed objectives.
