The article is devoted to the work of Italian author, scriptwriter, humorist and journalist and writer Giovanni Guareschi - the author of well-known character - priest Don Camillo. The Italian culture is reminding the hundred anniversary of birth Giovanni Guareschi this year and by this occasion we are returning to his work. Giovanni Guareschi is the author of many books: 'Little world of Don Camillo', 'Don Camillo and his herd', 'Don Camillo, monsignor, but no so very', 'Comrade Don Camillo', which had big success not just in Italy and Europe, but also in USA. On the theme humoristic stories from the life of catholic priest Don Camillo and communist deputy and mayor Peppone was made 4-parts broadcast adaptation in radio BBC and were recording six movies. The foundation of humoristic situations, which appeal film and radio creators, consist on transfer traditional Italian character butler Pantalone from 'commedia dell'arte' to character God's servant Don Camillo and fights, which lead with communist deputy Peppone.
