The paper prepared to celebrate the 70th birthday anniversary of Professor Adam Fraczek presents only a part of his activities as a scientist, academic teacher and organizer in the area of clinical psychology. The authors who had the honor of being his students and coworkers, remember his contribution to the introduction of postgraduate specialization in clinical psychology in Poland, describe many years of his collaboration with the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in the field of health psychology and health promotion, as well as relevant research programs conducted under his supervision. The paper is supplemented by a list of major publications by Professor Fraczek in the past 15 years.
