This study deals with a cumulative evaluation of finds discovered at Mokřice Castle in Bohemia between 2011 and 2019. It is a large assemblage that provides a series of insights into the daily operation of the residence. The majority of the assemblage from the excavations of the castle core date back to the final years of its existence. The castle’s demise was caused by fire and subsequent destruction, which was probably associated with its siege evidenced by the discovery of militaria. Based on these findings, it is possible to place the demise of the castle core into the 1420s. The findings also provide insight into the material equipment of a smaller aristocratic residence at the beginning of the Hussite wars.
