WHERE IS THE PRESENT?

The view of the present must be put on the picture of history, which in turn has to be related to its distinction. Numerous ways of its division were provided by G. Vico, G.W.F. Hegel, D. Bell and by postmodernists. In all these concepts contemporary times and the present are vague. While modernity and contemporary times are rather complex, social-cultural dimensions, the present is something on the one hand universal, and individual on the other. It exists and it does not exist at the same time. It can be defined only in philosophical or mathematical aspects. It is terribly intimate and crucial, perhaps the most crucial in human existence and struggle against time. It is a particle of time, which is given and immediately taken away.
