The survey aims at presenting the university and primary school students' attitude towards a real teacher. In the survey students completed the Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI). The statistical analysis confirmed that students perceived a good teacher (interpersonally) as the one with leadership skills, who was helping/friendly and understanding. Also the one who gave students opportunities to assume responsibilities and freedom. According to the survey results teacher should not be too uncertain, dissatisfied or strict. An ideal teacher should not impose his communication style.
