The paper discusses prospects of economic growth for Polish economy in 2009 in the light of global financial and economic crisis. Factors of resistance of our economy against crisis and week points are presented. The scenario of main economic processes is outlined taking into account high uncertainty in Poland's economic environment. It is concluded that Polish economy will experience deep economic slow down while open recession is less probable.
