The aim of the presented research was to identify the relationships between the temperamental traits as postulated in the Regulative Theory of Temperament and the thinking style conceptualized as the dimension extending from rationality to intuitiveness. 227 students aging from 19 to 30 years participated in the research. The Formal Characteristics of the Behaviour - Temperament Inventory was used to measure temperamental traits and I-R questionnaire was used to measure thinking style. The multiple regression analysis revealed the positive relationship between the scores in the I-R scale and emotional reactivity and activity and negative relationship with briskness and perseveration.
