The paper aimed at farewell of gen. prof. dr hab. Elzbieta Zawacka second women in Poland with military title of general, and also professor of andragogy, who died after long illness at age 99, in Torun on 10.01.2009. This article contains introduction to biographical course of life of Elzbieta Zawacka, and description of her funeral ceremony.
