The article discusses problems of retirement or pension allowance for persons finishing their proferssional career. The authoress discusses the legal regulations in force and stresses that this allowance is a prestation universal, obligatory and single one. She also points out its moral and material importance for persons at the end of their professional activity. The authoress quotes the jurisdiction of the High Court in this matter and signals essential changes in opinions towards dissemination and liberalisation of the right to the retirement or pension allowance.
