The aim of this paper is to evaluate the aid programmes sent to underdeveloped countries. The survey covered six countries from South America, Africa and Asia. The survey covered the period from 2000 to 2006. Close attention was paid to the structure of the aid and the dynamic of GDP. In those countries which were given substantial aid for business activity improvement, the bigger dynamic of GDP was noted. On the other hand, in those countries which were given the aid just for humanitarian purposes, the dynamic of GDP was much smaller and was subject to fluctuations.
