The research of archival documents in major map collections and archives of the Czech Republic and Slovakia yielded new information about the number of topographic maps 1 : 20 000 created in the Křovák universe conformal conic projection. The amount of map sheets increased to 134 of which 129 map sheets were traced. Five map sheets were not found although records are available proving their existence in the 1930s and 1950s. The new findings were made only thanks to the very responsive attitude of archives custodians and thein map collections.
