The paper deals with the role of performance measurement systems in developing the supply chain which have the ability to cope with changes in the environment (including sudden and unexpected) reducing the risk of losing the ability to operate. In many cases this is a very desirable feature of modern supply chains. The critical analysis of literature and the conclusions of observing corporate behaviour were the basis for deriving directions of design and application of performance measurement systems. The purpose of the paper is to identify the most important performance metrics in line with the objectives of the development of resilient supply chains. A set of measures has been proposed which can serve as both a guide for supply chain managers and a canvas to build robust and tailored performance measurement systems for resilient supply chains.
