This paper focuses on the discovery of two pottery vessels found in the town of Partizánske, part Veľké Bielice. Both artefacts were typologically and chronologically examined and compared to similar finds from various sites, allowing for their dating to the Early Iron Age. Special emphasis was placed on the large vase, which bears striking similarities to a find from a cemetery in Maiersch, Lower Austria. Interestingly, this vase does not yet have any direct analogies in southwestern Slovakia. The settlement patterns of the Early Iron Age in the north-eastern part of the Nitrianska pahorkatina Hills suggest a moderate density of settlements. There is an emphasis on the need for further research and the publication of material culture from this region during this period.
