Besides the presentation of the methodology of biographies the study deals with the two examined youth movements. Within presents the reminiscences of leading personalities of the left orientated Sarló (Sickle) Movement such as Edgár Balogh, Lajos Jócsik and Endre Kovács. It is examined the biographical writings of the leaders of right orientated Circles of Prochaska by the essays of Elemér Rády, László Göndöcs and Miklós Pfeiffer. These personalities were belonging to the “new-faced” generation. They opposed to the older generation of fathers considered the new opportunities to be the most dominant life experiences not the dissolution who opposed to the older generation of fathers considered the new opportunities to be the most dominant life experiences not the dissolution. The biographical sources have significant role in the historical examination of the generation of intelligentsia which was created with intensive consciousness to show the “peculiarity” of this significant era in the life of the generation according to their experiences. For the interpretation of the era’s social relations they are incomplete in more aspects, although these sources are very important for the reconstruction of the generational performance of the minority’s nation-building.
