Notes

The Czech Criminology (Česká kriminologie) is a professional peer-reviewed journal that publishes original work of domestic and foreign authors. It is published since 2016 by the Czech Society of Criminology. The scope of the journal corresponds to the thematic breadth and multidisciplinary nature of criminology as a discipline and opens the door to the theoretical and empirical discussion about crime, its extent, development, specific forms and manifestations, perpetrators and victims, as well as the possibilities of its control. It also deals with other areas of socially undesirable phenomena, which are not legally defined as crime, but can be understood as its correlates (e.g. bullying in schools, prostitution or substance abuse). The magazine is published twice a year in electronic form and invites scholars to submit their manuscripts (papers, research studies, methodological contributions) to the peer-review process, as well as medallions, reviews and reports that correspond with the scope of the journal. The journal is published in open access mode under license CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
