The article portrays the translation training in Poland. The first part of the article critically presents Ministerial Curricular Standards and the Polish Sworn Interpreters and Translators Act and discusses their influence on the aca d e mic translator edu ca tion. The second part of the article presents the didactic concept done during the post-graduate course for translators and interpreters at the University of Wroclaw.
