Celem pracy jest identyfikacja korzyści i barier związanych z podejmowaniem współpracy przez przedsiębiorstwa działające w wybranym sektorze, tj. sektorze przedsiębiorstw uzdrowiskowych. Główną funkcją artykułu jest wskazanie na rosnącą rolę współpracy międzyorganizacyjnej w tym sektorze i wynikającą z tego potrzebę dyskusji nad formami współpracy oraz korzyściami i barierami wynikającymi z poszczególnych form współpracy międzyorganizacyjnej – aliansów strategicznych, klastrów czy ekosystemów biznesowych. W pierwszej części pracy na podstawie badań literaturowych omówiono ewolucję koncepcji współpracy międzyorganizacyjnej oraz wskazano na obecność i znaczenie zarówno szans, jak i wyzwań związanych z podejmowaniem współpracy. W drugiej części pracy na podstawie źródeł wtórnych opracowano i omówiono ilustratywne studia przypadków demonstrujące wybrane przykłady form współpracy przedsiębiorstw uzdrowiskowych w Polsce oraz wskazano związane z nimi korzyści (m.in. współdzielenie zasobów, dostęp do nowych klientów i rynków) i bariery (np. ograniczone zaufanie, trudności w komunikacji między partnerami czy wypełnianiu wspólnych celów).

The aim of the article is to identify the benefits and barriers associated with the cooperation in the chosen sector, i.e. health resort sector in Poland. In the first part of the paper, based on the literature review, the evolution of the concept of interorganizational cooperation is discussed; the presence and the importance of both opportunities and challenges of making cooperation are also presented. In the second part of the article, based on secondary sources, illustrative case studies demonstrating examples of forms of cooperation between health resort enterprises in Poland are discussed.
