The study covers accounting years 2010 and 2011. Data was derived from the group of 15 organic farms cultivating on average circa 6 ha of orchards. These orchards constitute averagely 60% of utilized agricultural area of analysed farms. Presented results prove how difficult and hazardous is organic fruit production. Degree of intensity in surveyed organic farms was low. It was, therefore, reflected by yielding and fruits quality. Wages paid constituted the majority of inputs, accounting for 30% in imputed costs structure. Implementation of undertaken organic farming practices entailed higher labour inputs. During both analysed years production was profitable, however, family farm income including operational subsidies by annual work unit (AWU) did not exceed the level of average net wage in national economy. In both, 2010 and 2011 accounting years subsidies were crucial income contributors constituting respectively 86,0 % and 69,3%.
