This paper examines the results of a survey conducted within the auspices of the KEGA 026UK 4/2013 grant project “Art in the world of contemporary art and new media”. The project sought to survey the status of education in museums and galleries in Slovakia and the possibility of on-line learning using the websites of these institutions. Within this context, we focus on contemporary culture and its study and analysis in museum pedagogy and education.
