Прагматика асемантичных реплик в пьесах Антона Чехова
Pragmatics of Asemantic Remarks in Anton Chehov’s Plays
Languages of publication
In A. Chehov’s plays, first of all “Chayka”, “Three Sisters”, “Uncle Vanya”, educated characters’ speech regularly contains utterances devoid of propositional content, but full of peculiar communicative senses of pragmatic nature. From the point of view of the theory of speech acts they can be analyzed as asemantic with regard to the movement of communicative senses in communication. The article presents an attempt of typology of this kind of cues-speech acts depending on the degree of their asemantisity and those pragmatic functions they perform. The analysis of linguistic means of implementation of indirect communication is one of the topical problems of modern linguistics, linguistic pragmatics in particular.
