HOW FLESH WAS MADE THE WORD: MYTHOLOGY OF HUMAN’S BODY IN UKRAINIAN POSTMODERN PROSE
Languages of publication
Abstracts
The great interest in human body is one of the most considerable features of Ukrainian postmodern prose. The proof of that fact can be found in the texts of Oksana Zabuzhko, Jury Andruchovych, Eugenia Kononenko, Jury Izdryk and others. The artistic analysis of the topic of human body in the prose of these authors is based on archetypal and mythological motifs — such as birth and death.
